DWP’s annual fundraising events serve many important functions. In addition to raising funds that keep our daily online and in-person dance classes free of charge, these gatherings present meaningful opportunities to bring our community together to meet and connect, to deepen friendships, and to experience the joy and benefits of dance.

On April 10th, the DWP community came together across three interconnected stages: in-person in Toronto, at DWP locations across Canada, and online from around the world, to celebrate our 18th anniversary. It was a beautiful reflection of everything DWP stands for: connection, joy and belonging.

DWP’S “RHYTHM OF…” 2025

300+ dancers from all over Canada and the world gathered in-person and online to dance together to Martha and the Muffin’s iconic hit, “Rhythm of Life”. United by the shared human experience of navigating the rhythms of our lives, we celebrated 17 years of connection, community and dance.

The Look of…DWP, 2024

On Friday, January 19, 2024 over 300 dancers, friends and community partners joined us in-person at Meridian Hall and online via Zoom to celebrate 16 years of DWP, and to experience the embodiment of connection, joy and LOVE.

You Got Me Dancing, 2023

On Sunday, March 5, 2023 the DWP community gathered at the Art Gallery of Ontario and online for an afternoon of dance, artistic expression and connection. Walker Court was filled with joy, movement and beauty as we celebrated 15 years of DWP to the music and poetry of Leonard Cohen.
