Eden Rose Champagne
Eden began volunteering with DWP in 2018 and has since completed the introductory and advanced teacher training with Sarah Robichaud and David Leventhal. Eden is a trained dance artist, and brings a wealth of experience from her first Master’s degree in Psychology, in which she explored the benefits of Dancing with Parkinson’s for couples who attended the class together. She is also a trained dance/movement therapist and has been working as a dance therapy practitioner with older adults since completing her second Master’s degree from the National Centre for Dance Therapy in 2020. Eden just completed PhD in Aging, Health, and Well-being at the University of Waterloo, where her doctoral research explored the benefits of dance for older adults and their caregivers. Eden is excited to be teaching DWP in Regina and on the DDC!
