Tiffany Chow | Director

Dr. Tiffany Chow, MD, FAAN, Behavioural Neurologist, has been a part of the DWP ohana since its beginning. To support such an innovative service for people living with Parkinson’s disease fulfills part of her mission to make a positive global impact on neurodegenerative disorder research and patient care. She authored a 2013 Canadian national bestseller, The Memory Clinic, about what she learned from patients and their families, and she has more recently completed training as an end-of-life doula. After her stint as a Senior Scientist at the Rotman Research Institute, she joined the pharmaceutical industry from within the US to extend the responsibilities taken on by academicians and industry toward what interests patients and families most.

Additionally, she holds an Adjunct Professor title at the University of Pennsylvania for her academic role in leading the Clinical Core of the Asian Cohort for Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Chow has been a lifelong student of dance, ranging from ballet to traditional Hawaiian kahiko.
