ADMINISTRATION AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
DWP is looking for individuals who have an interest in arts-based community non-profit organizations, with expertise in the arts, non-profit administration, non-profit law, due diligence, board governance, fundraising/donor relations, and marketing & communications. Term: 1 year.
Role:
- Special fundraising projects with Executive Director 
- General data entry, and cleaning/updating databases and lists as needed (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Gmail Contacts and MailChimp); converting data from one format to another, finding duplicates and errors 
- Updating documents/reports 
Experience/Skills Required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, and good organizational skills 
- Skilled with computers - including Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word as well as Google Drive, strong keyboarding skills 
- Proficiency doing internet research 
- Familiarity with MailChimp’s email marketing service, SquareSpace web design software and Canva 
- Ability to exercise tact, discretion, and confidentiality 
- Willing to learn new things, and take on projects as needed 
- Ability to both work well as a team player and independently; able to problem solve and troubleshoot without supervision, though not afraid to ask for help when needed
