FUNDRAISING AND MARKETING COMMITTEE MEMBER
We are looking for additional members to join our fundraising committee to work on DWP's fundraising and Marketing efforts which are a critical part of our future growth. You will work with other committee members to develop and implement fundraising strategies for the year, including fundraising campaigns, networking, and acquisition of partnerships with major donors & corporate sponsorships, and expand our marketing/advertising and grant opportunities.
Role:
Attend regular quarterly committee meetings
Share committee workload: seeking out information, developing drafts for committee review, implementing strategies
Has had some experience in non-profit fundraising. Experience in sales would be helpful to help with advertising and sponsorship work
Enjoys working with a team of people and has basic computer skills to participate in online meetings
Experience/Skills Required:
Experience in non-profit fundraising, committee membership
A marketing background would be helpful for campaign and sponsorship work
Enjoys working with a team of people
Computer skills including internet/email, Microsoft Word and Excel, online conference meetings
