Thank you for supporting our 6th annual fundraiser

On behalf of Dancing with Parkinson’s we would like to thank you for supporting our 6th annual fundraiser “You Should Be Dancing” at The Capitol Event Theatre on June 19th 2014.

It was a magical night filled with performances by Toronto’s hottest dancers, and a one hour dance a thon that brought the entire dance community out in full force to raise the roof and raise some funds for our program.

With your support and the support of our sponsors we are able to continue to increase accessibility of our classes for the future through expansion.

We are thrilled to announce that with the many exceptional donated items in our live auction and raffle, with ticket sales and with some generous individual donations and sponsorships we were able to hit our goal to raise $50,000.00. These funds will go directly to support the costs of running the Dancing with Parkinson’s program. A very big thank you to all of our sponsors and donors to the event that made our evening a huge success.

Our mission at Dancing with Parkinson's (DWP) is to provide a fun, safe environment where those with Parkinson's Disease can celebrate the artistry and potential of their own movement.

At present, DWP offers six classes per week for Parkinson's Disease dancers in Toronto and the greater Toronto area.
