VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTION

SOCIALMEDIA&ONLINE MARKETINGCOORDINATOR

We are looking for someone who understands marketing and social media, would like to help build our social media accounts, develop a marketing strategy in the growing social media market, and aid us in media posting. 
 

This is an awesome opportunity for someone who is studying online marketing and/or graphic design, has an interest in nonprofit organizations, and a desire to help by using some of their social media time to help Dancing With Parkinson’s grow.
 

We would also be pleased to work with a large organization willing to donate some of their time and resources to our cause. 


Role: 

  • Using a newly developed template as a starting point, brainstorm with us to develop a solid Social Media strategy that can be executed within framework of our somewhat limited time and financial resources. 

  • Create content calendar for posting across all channels to grow our following and engagement

  • Develop a consistent look for our brand across all channels, and create template for future posts in all mediums

  • Help us incorporate various campaigns to generate awareness, create new partnership opportunities and increase donations

  • Compare existing channels and recommend focus of Social Media efforts for our demographic 

  • Research Google Ads for nonprofits to extend our reach

  • Find possible influencers and partnerships that may be utilized to drive in donors via online fundraising 

 

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant business or school experience in social media marketing

  • High level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills

  • Demonstrated experience with content marketing, SEO, Google Analytics, videography, photography, excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable assessing priorities, good interpersonal skills and judgement
