DWP Executive Director and Founder Sarah Robichaud is seeking a part-time Executive Assistant to join the team.




Wage: $16/hour

Start Date: As soon as possible, deadline is February 15th
Hours: Averages from 10-15 hours per week. 4-6 hours a week will be on site at Executive Director’s office in Toronto (Dundas/Ossington), some work will be take place at our class locations and events, with the majority of admin work done remotely

Skills Required:


  • Experience with administration and customer service is essential, and experience working in a non-profit environment or a nonprofit college certification (completed or in progress) would be an asset

  • Must be fully versed in Microsoft Office- Word and Excel, GMAIL (calendar, contacts, Google drive) using a Customer Relations Management (CRM) Database for data entry (any CRM experience is helpful) and general office applications including a photo editor. Experience using SQUARE payment system is an asset

  • Comfortable using basic social media marketing tools like Facebook, Instagram & Twitter

  • 6-12 months experience using email marketing tools, preferably Mailchimp, or Constant Contact, Hubspot or other similar program)

  • Learns quickly, aptitude for using technology, and can take initiative

  • Website editing with Wix (or similar program, you must be willing to learn Wix if you do not have experience)

  • Attention to detail, editing/proofreading skills, ability to work on your own, and meet deadlines




  • Managing DWP voice mail and email inbox (Gmail) scheduling appointments, keeping task lists and reminders for Executive Director, all filing/admin work, and organizing monthly banking support package for our accountant

  • Customer service and administration of class registrations, donation receipts, thank you letters and general correspondence

  • Social Media: Working with ED and our Social Media Coordinator on social media calendar and ensuring timely execution; occasional posting of time sensitive announcements

  • Maintaining our client database and contact list, eventually managing data in a CRM. Currently data is maintained in GMAIL/Mailchimp, and imports/exports/merges are needed to ensure consistency of data from different areas

  • Creating/updating print & web promotional material and updating our website as needed
